Meeting rooms

NCC has two meetings rooms at its office in Newtown. These rooms are available to NCC members free of charge, subject to availability.

The large room has a maximum capacity of 12 and is equipped with a whiteboard. The small meeting room has a maximum capacity of 6.

Media release distribution

Media releases can be sent directly to newsrooms and journalists on behalf of your organisation via email. The Nature Conservation Council does not officially endorse media releases sent out on behalf of other organisations.

This is a free service, offered only to NCC member groups.

Training workshops

Nature Conservation Council staff can provide a range of training workshops tailored to your groups’ specific needs. Please contact us to discuss your particular topic of interest. Costs listed here are for full day workshops, but shorter workshops can be negotiated by request.

Costs for full day training workshops

$150 per head for business and government, minimum 10 people or $1500

$100 per head for community and non-profit organisations, minimum 10 people or $1000

$40 per head for NCC member groups, minimum 10 people or $400

Computer and internet access

Desk space with computer and internet access is available for environmental campaigners, subject to availability. 

Guest speakers

Nature Conservation Council staff are available to speak at events or meetings on environmental issues, subject to availability.

$50 per hour for non member groups

Free for NCC member groups

Equipment hire

Laptop and data projector are available for hire either at the Nature Conservation Council office or off site. 

Costs

Laptop $100 per day, or $50 for Member Groups.  Refundable bond

Data projector $100 per day, or $50 for Member Groups.  Refundable bond

Photocopying/ printing

Costs

10c per page (black and white only)

Kitchen facilities including free tea and coffee available for Member Groups only.
