Sydney says YES to a renewable energy future

The NSW Earth Relay touched down at the Sydney Opera House on Saturday 15 October to demonstrate Sydney’s support for the clean, energy future legislation package.

Happily the weather held out for actress and director Rachel Ward to pose alongside representatives from Sydney’s environmental organisations with the 180cm NSW Earth Relay globe at the Opera House.

Groups represented include Greenpeace, 100% Renewables, Climate Action Network Australia,
Balmain-Rozelle Climate Action, Colong Foundation for Wilderness, ParraCAN, ACF (Central Coast), Ryde-Hunters Hill Flora and Fauna Preservation Society and councillors of numerous local government areas.

Take a look at the video put together by Black Jelly Films, or check out the entire set of photos for the NSW Earth Relay at our Flickr photostream.

Thank you to everyone who took part and Rachel Ward for her generous support.
