Get involved: NSW Earth Relay

To show support for the Federal government's clean energy legislation, environmental groups from across Australia are relaying inflatable globes to Canberra to meet the house-sized globe, the Climate Action Station, on the lawns of Parliament House.

In NSW local community, environmental and climate action groups are coming together to take photos of their members and supporters with a giant 180cm globe (or a smaller 90cm globe) in iconic, local locations such as Broulee Beach, the Three Sisters, Bungonia Gorge and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The photos will then be collected by the NCC and will be sent to the Climate Action Station as a symbolic representation of public support for climate action.

Our NSW Earth Relay is working up some serious kilometres on it's journey to Canberra. Have a look at our Earth Relay program below.

Show your support of the clean energy legislation package by attending one of the photoshoots.Or alternatively, if you would like your local environment or climate action group to get involved in the NSW Earth Relay contact Lesley Andrew on (02) 9516 1488 or email landrew@nccnsw.org.au.
